This yes. I loved the episode, Irene was so much more than I’d hoped, but the last 20 minutes or so just felt strange and confusing with respect to her story. ACD wasn’t afraid to have a woman outwit Sherlock in 1888, why are we afraid to do so in 2012?

  5. jagged1 said: Just throwing it out there, Irene was brilliant and it was perfect and then the end with the magical “Look I saved you!” was just out of place, wrong, and awkward. I am also thoroughly annoyed she lost with the phone, but that is far more forgivable.
